Review

Not for me
I liked it
I loved it!

Batch 53 was excellent. Rich sherry notes with a lovely balance of fruit and spice and a touch of wood. The spicy sherry notes are very evident and work beautifully together, so that you almost think you are in Spain or at least looking to see where the Chorizo sausage is. Definitely one to savour slowly. Beware that different batch numbers produce very different tasting - not all of them good. Other batches of note: 54, 61, 63.

Occasion

If find a good batch - buy a few bottles - its an excellent gift, but you will be tempted to keep one for yourself to enjoy in the evenings.

Right for you?

If you enjoy whiskies that are big on fruit, chocolate, and spices, then this is a great choice. A must-try for Aberlour fans and those that enjoy sherry cask matured whiskies.
