- Caramel, burnt butter, toffee honey and dried fruits with hints of wine, nuts and hints of spice,

- Sweet rich cherry, chocolate, oak spice, and dried fruits with touch of milk chocolate and winter spices.

- Long and dry but with sweet sherried fruit and pepper vanilla wood. Sometimes a touch of smoke comes through at the end.

Flavour Profile
Review
This opens up in the glass, so give it a few minutes before sampling. While this is a great drop, we like the Glenfarclas 105 more for its intensity and complexity. However, this 15 year old is a classic and for those that don't like cask strength is an excellent whiskey to be enjoyed. It can be a little over the top in the sheeried fruit department, so if you like that style, then this is a great choice. Overall, its a solid dram that is sure to please those that enjoy sherried Speyside whiskies.
