This opens up in the glass, so give it a few minutes before sampling. While this is a great drop, we like the Glenfarclas 105 more for its intensity and complexity. However, this 15 year old is a classic and for those that don't like cask strength is an excellent whiskey to be enjoyed. It can be a little over the top in the sheeried fruit department, so if you like that style, then this is a great choice. Overall, its a solid dram that is sure to please those that enjoy sherried Speyside whiskies.
