Flavour Profile
Review
This is a very approachable and popular single malt that offers a sweet, fruity, vanilla, toffee, and subtle spice flavours. Its very easy drinking with the rum casks adding a nice sweetness and a point of difference from other Speyside whiskies. The price of being so accessible and popular is that its lost some character and we found it missing that depth and complexity that are the mark of a truly exceptional whisky. However, this is extremely drinkable and a great choice for those new to single malts or looking for something a little bit different for the summer months.
