Would benefit from a higher ABV like it's cousin the A'Bundah as it is lacking a bit of a punch however the flavour profile is rich and rewarding to those that enjoy fruit and spice driven whiskeys. This is not a bad drop however Mike found the finish a little unbalanced when compared to the Kinglake Popeye which felt more rich, round and rewarding, that said this will reward drinkers moving into the Seasoned bracket with a stronger and more complex flavour profile.

This whiskey pairs beautifully with:
Great as a winter warmer shared with friends or alongside a special meal with the ones you love. Would also work with a quiet night in by the fire with a good book.
If you enjoy sweet, spicey strong whiskeys that won't break the budget then this is a great go to. Slightly more complex flavours will reward those entry level drinkers looking for the next challenge.
