Review
We were surprised about the intense spice and long finish of this dram which we enjoyed but may this many not be for everyone. Distinct flavours dominate and suit those looking for something that stands out from the crowd. The flavours and intensities are definitely a notch down on a typical Islay dram, and while not quite in the same league this is one to try if you are looking for a more approachable Islay whisky with a strong spicy finish. The maritime influence is subtle and reminds us a little of the Taslisker 10 year, but adds a nice touch to the overall profile. Make sure you have some good savoury nibbles to accompany it.
