Flavour Profile
Review
A pure expression of Talisker from American oak refill casks, bottled at 57% abv (100% proof) to honour the latitude of the distillery. Sweet to start, it explodes with smoke and volcanic pepper. It's a must try for Talisker enthusiasts or lovers of strong, smoky malts, but be prepared for a fiery start. This is one of our favourite all time whiskies that suits many occasions - not as intensely peaty as those found in Islay and so is a little more versatile and approachable.
