Review

Not for me
I liked it
I loved it!

This is an intense and powerful Islay single malt that delivers plenty of peat smoke and complexity. It not for those new to Islay or even the Ardbeg range, but for those that love peat and are looking for very something special, this is a must-try. It offers a marine character with wood, spice, and sweet vanilla undertones, but the dominant feature is the peat and mineral flavours. An absolute delight and worth the extra if you have enjoyed the Ardbeg 10 year or An Oa previously. The Corryvreckan is named after the famous whirlpool located off the west coast of Scotland, known for its powerful and turbulent waters. This whisky captures that same intensity and complexity, delivering a sensory experience that mirrors the natural phenomenon. Total delight to drink. Enjoy.
