Review

The deep stormy side of Talisker is calmed a little in this mature 18 year old, sweetly rich and warming with just a hint of smoke, and a subtle peppery finish. We were expecting more and often wished we have the Talisker 57 in our glass instead. There nothing wrong or bad about this whisky, its very smooth and refined, but it isn't very exciting either. A good whisky without doubt, but not one of our favourites from Talisker given the price.
