Not the faint-hearted (or first timers to peated whiskies) as it has a strong peat with a marine-mineral character that takes some time to appreciated. However, the rewards of this complex whisky are plentiful and remains one of our favourite whiskies. It only scores 90 as its big brothers, the An Oa and the Corryvreckan, really shine in this style of maritime whisky flavours. Regardless, the 10 year will not disappoint. One to thoroughly enjoy.
