We found the sherry a little overwhelming making for a very sweet and fruity dram. However, its an excellent entry level sherried whisky that offers great value. It's not overly complex so best enjoyed with complimentary foods that work well with the sweet sherry influence. If you like the sherry then this is a great choice for those looking for a more affordable option to the likes of Macallan or Aberlour. It picked up Silver at the World Whiskies Awards in 2024 too, so we're clearly not alone in rating the value here.
