Review

This is a powerful dram that packs a punch at 60% abv, with a rich sherry influence, nutty, spicy, and fruity profile (cherries, toffee, dried fruits, orange, chocolate). The finish is long and warming. On the second glass you start to notice hidden depths of caramel, spice, and mocha, making it an excellent whisky. Definitely one to savour slowly and enjoy with friends on a special occasion - it won't disappoint and is sure to please. It's a deserving winner of Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2019.

Occasion

This would work great at Christmas time with friends and family over dessert or just to savour slowly on a cold winter evening.

Right for you?

If you like strong sherry fruit driven flavours, then this would be a great choice to celebrate with friends over a charcuterie board and a sticky date pudding.
