Review

We were expecting a one dimensional sweet palate and finish given the nose, but it's surprisingly peppery and savoury in nature which gives it a second dimension of flavour and versatility. We found the lighter style invoking hints of spring sunshine that helped warm the soul. Definitely a dram for those that like savoury and peppery flavours as the fruit is only really evident on the nose. This is a standout from the whiskies we have been tasting of late and can thoroughly recommend it for those looking for something a bit different. No wonder Whisky Advocate named it their Whisky of the Year in 2023, as it clearly stood out for them too.
