Review

Batch 53 was excellent. Rich sherry notes with a lovely balance of fruit and spice and a touch of wood. The spicy sherry notes are very evident and work beautifully together, so that you almost think you are in Spain or at least looking to see where the Chorizo sausage is. Definitely one to savour slowly. Beware that different batch numbers produce very different tasting - not all of them good. Other batches of note: 54, 61, 63. Different batches have taken home Gold at the World Whiskies Awards in 2020 and Category Winner in 2021, and if batch 53 had been in the running, we reckon it would have walked away with the lot.
